Tsmservice.exe Help A Comp Noob ... TSMService.exe Freezes My Lenovo X-41 Tablet. Why, Oh Why?

Help a comp noob ... TSMService.exe freezes my Lenovo X-41 Tablet. Why, oh why? - tsmservice.exe

I have an X-41 Lenovo Think Pad Tablet notebook. When I start it freezes with the CPU at 100%. About to from within the Task Manager and at the end of the process: TSMService.exe CPU. Then the model is working well (the TSMResident.exe there yet and need not) be filled. The program seems to be a Lenovo TSMService.exe. Someone knows what happened here? What should you do now?

Some things you can try:

1. If you do not have the tablet functionality, disable the service or, if not use the Service to avoid the System Configuration Utility to start at startup.
2. Consult with Lenovo to see if a newer version of the driver tablet
3. If not, then uninstall the driver, see try) a new driver from Wacom (not Lenovo. On the X41 there is no passive digitizer - to my knowledge, that every driver should work with Wacom's good, and probably fewer problems.

You can start the process of implementation. Press the Windows key + R then type msconfig. In the new window, click on the tab "Startup". Now find and uncheck the box that belongs to the service.
If the computer works without the software from Lenovo, which probably is not necessary.
Hope it helps.
